dave.
Dave honestly wanted to thump Blaine for changing the rules at the very last second. He shook his head, a long sigh leaving his lips as he casually just slowed down to, obvious that he wasn’t going to be winning this race. He slid into the driver seat, turning to look at the other. “You suck, you know that? I can’t believe that you play unfair, see if I race you or do anything with you again,” he teased, leaning over to give Blaine a quick kiss. Jabbing his keys into the ignition, he waited as the car turned on. He waited a moment, taking a deep breath, before leaning back and pulled out a bottle and two glasses out. “I got us sparkling cider. I mean, its not alcoholic. Maybe doing this in the front seat of a car is the best idea, but I wanted to celebrate our first road trip together. Not that big deal but yeah. I’m really excited to be doing this trip with you, and I feel like it kind of puts our relationship forward a bit, so here is to us,” he hummed, popping the bottle and pour glasses for the two of them.
“I suck?! Seriously? Did you just say that to me? Dave,” he laughed so hard that his cheeks were red and the sound of his giggle fit was only cut off by the sudden kiss. Blaine instinctively trailed after Dave’s quickly retreating lips but he was gone too quick to catch up. A jittery look away that darted from Dave to the glove box and finally blinked with the realization he had to fasten his seatbelt filled the space between the car turning on and the strangely paced pause. Safely locked in with a metallic click–Blaine rubbed his palms on his bended knees and let out a cleansing breath in an attempt to get his heart to slow down. –Kiss me again. I want you to kiss me again.– Cider? Gifted with a sudden distraction from too much thinking about a simple kiss–he was all too pleasantly surprised by such an outright adorably thoughtful boyfriend presenting a bottle of cider of all things. “Aww. No way,” his eyes softened and he looked down at the glasses shaking his head. “This has to be the cutest thing you’ve ever.. I.. Oh my God. This is adorable. To us.” Carefully clinking his glass with Dave’s as soon as it was in his hand–Blaine took a sip and waited for Dave to lower his drink before leaning in and kissing the very corner of his mouth. “Thank you.”
