send in a ❣ for a random kiss.
early vamp!adam (roll, 8: a bleeding / bloody kiss) <~ not planned, i showed receipts!

Adam always seemed appear when Blaine found himself in a not-so-great situation.
Tonight wasn’t the first time. Knowing his luck?
…..Probably wasn’t the last either.
The men from the docks were filtering into the city in droves now that most of the ships were ported due to another snowstorm that didn’t seem to want to let up. Which meant when the hotels, streets and houses got cold? The bars, taverns and restaurants were where everyone went to get warm. Enough of a reason to trudge through the ice cold and wind blown downpour of white flakes all the way from his apartment to work. He needed money and tonight the bar would be full of men with heavy pockets from their earnings and an abundance of alcohol. The opportunity to cash in on it was way too hard to pass up.
Now, he was the one whose pockets were full while the patrons who drank themselves into a stupor listening to him play slept their drunkenness off next to the fireplace where the owner decided to let them stay. Blaine, on the other hand, was determined to get home. Sleep in his own clean, warm (and much better smelling than dirt, sweat and alcohol) bed. Halfway home and the tall buildings made wind tunnels of snow and covered the stone underfoot in ice underneath the fresh powder. A tired body and a huge gust aimed straight down the long corridor. Blaine barely got out a yelp of surprise before he face planted on the ground.
Stars exploded behind clenched eyes. His teeth felt like they rattled in his mouth when he landed hard enough to knock the wind out of himself. Against the human body’s gut instinct to bolt upright out of the snow, Blaine laid there long enough to catch his breath before pushing himself up with scraped palms onto sore knees covering half his face with a sigh and a groan. That..hurt. Only after he opened his eyes did he realize he was face-to-face with…
“Adam?” Blaine felt his face heat up. He saw that, didn’t he?
“Promise me you’ll forget that happened,” he smiled wincing at how it hurt to do so. Without thought, the musician leaned in quickly (was it instinct now?) and kissed the other, happy and relieved to see him in spite of his embarrassment. Keeping his hands between his knees to warm them up, Blaine inched in a little closer and tilted his head to seal their lips together properly not realizing until then that he must’ve bit into his lip harder than he thought. But the pain was worth the chance to try and offer up a kiss as a means of further convincing Adam he didn’t witness his ungraceful and nowhere near charming fall mishap.
