Another one of his visits that stretched far past school hours into the later part of the night. Seems like it was getting harder and harder to will himself to walk out the door and return back to reality. The comfort of the Warbler Common Room when it was only him and Sebastian was something he told himself was over a long time ago. That their friendship, while polite, would never be what it used to be. Until it seemed that fate brought him back here once more. Back to Dalton, back home, back to his friends.
To Sebastian.
Who stood in front of him while he procrastinated leaving for the second time. His heels already swung backwards twice, two steps towards the leather couch he’d just vacated. A handful more and he’d be sitting back down. Not that he seemed to mind as his hand reached out and fingers curled around Sebastian’s wrist. Now the taller of the pair was tugged closer to the sofa, too. His heart felt warmer when he heard he was missed and that name came back to him. The underside of a pale wrist was grazed over with the edge of Blaine’s thumb and his smile softened, his gaze read over Sebastian’s. “I missed you, and Dalton and everyone, too. Keeps getting harder to go and I’ve only been visiting for less than a week.”
