❣ (pick a muse, any muse)

send in a ❣ for a random kiss.
(roll, 16: a platonic kiss) for sam evans

Blaine meant every word he said.  That without Sam these past couple months, he didn’t know how he would’ve made it out of bed most mornings.  After his confession of feeling like he was the worst person on the planet, the blond made it a point to do everything in his power to show Blaine he wasn’t.  He’d even gone so far as to stay the night on occasion when Blaine was having one of his worst of his not-so-good days.

Like tonight.

They were sitting in front of the television, game controllers in their hands firing off round after round on Call of Duty until their eyeballs felt too dry to keep staring at the screen.  Another snowfall began hours ago and he could see it clearly through the large french doors that lead from the kitchen onto an outdoor patio already covered in white.  The hot chocolate Blaine suggested he should make warmed his hand as Blaine shifted his attention from the dizzy spinning flakes falling in the dark to Sam’s reflection in the glass windowpanes.  A lopsided grin tugged the corner of his mouth upwards.

“I think I’d be lost without you, you know?”  Tangling their fingers together, Blaine tugged Sam down just enough that he could rise up and press a kiss to the other’s cheek ignoring how his belly did one of those spinning cartwheels as he lowered back down.  “Just..  Thanks.  For being such a good person, Sam.  One of the best, actually.”  Because that’s what Sam was.

of course you’re not! i’m all by myself out here, i have plenty of room for a guest! don’t you dare! i am happy to have you. you can meet some of my new friends, we can catch up, it can be just like old times!

maybe she was lonely, but she’d never admit it.

“Rachel, I would love the chance to spend more time with you and catch up to what you’re doing now–what you’re life’s like here–all of it.  I promise–I won’t get in the way.  I can’t wait for you to fill me in on everything.  We need to start this whole visit out with a dinner prepared by yours truly and wine!  We can’t forget the wine!”

Maybe now? Two lonely hearts just got a little less lonely.

“I know I promised to help, but you’ll have to wait five minutes. Please?
I just want to make sure everything’s in order and then I’m all yours.”

“Is that five minutes real time?  Or five minutes Rachel Berry time?
Because there is a very distinct difference between the two. What’s
got you stuck?  Is there something I can do to help?”
