“You’re just the person I was looking for,” Blaine smiled down at Marley as he approached the table where they were, apparently, the first two to arrive.  “I wanted a chance to talk to you while things were quiet.”  Thankful for the chance to have her attention before the others showed up and their usual chaotic lunch began, Blaine sat his tray down and took the chair beside the brunette.

“That song was really good.  I’ve had it in my head since yesterday.”  Settled in with a juicebox in hand, he turned to face her with a thoughtful squint.  “You said you had more, right?” Shoulders hitched in a shrug and his bottom lip jutted out in a ‘why not’ pout.  “I’d love to hear some more.  If they are half as good as that one?  They’re going to be amazing.  I was thinking..  Maybe you could bring more of them to the auditorium on Thursday?  No Glee practice.  You and I could sit at the piano and put some music behind the words?  If you’d like to give it a go?”
