❣ (pick a muse, any muse)

send in a ❣ for a random kiss.
(roll, 16: a platonic kiss) for sam evans

Blaine meant every word he said.  That without Sam these past couple months, he didn’t know how he would’ve made it out of bed most mornings.  After his confession of feeling like he was the worst person on the planet, the blond made it a point to do everything in his power to show Blaine he wasn’t.  He’d even gone so far as to stay the night on occasion when Blaine was having one of his worst of his not-so-good days.

Like tonight.

They were sitting in front of the television, game controllers in their hands firing off round after round on Call of Duty until their eyeballs felt too dry to keep staring at the screen.  Another snowfall began hours ago and he could see it clearly through the large french doors that lead from the kitchen onto an outdoor patio already covered in white.  The hot chocolate Blaine suggested he should make warmed his hand as Blaine shifted his attention from the dizzy spinning flakes falling in the dark to Sam’s reflection in the glass windowpanes.  A lopsided grin tugged the corner of his mouth upwards.

“I think I’d be lost without you, you know?”  Tangling their fingers together, Blaine tugged Sam down just enough that he could rise up and press a kiss to the other’s cheek ignoring how his belly did one of those spinning cartwheels as he lowered back down.  “Just..  Thanks.  For being such a good person, Sam.  One of the best, actually.”  Because that’s what Sam was.

( mssg » sam | sent ) Wow!  That’s weirdly pink, don’t you think?
( mssg » sam | sent ) I mean.  That’s not what I was expecting them to look like at all.

Though I guess what better way to not start an intergalactic panic than to go for the least threatening color known to us mere humans?
