1. do you follow canon, or dump it in the trash?
–Depends on the plot and the partner?  In general, I will always work canon into my stories as much as I can.  In future verses that are AUs, I try to keep most of Blaine’s past in high school the same and will twist it from there.  Occasionally, I’ll disregard canon for a crossover or heavy AU plot.  But as a default?  I follow canon fairly close.  My main verse is set in Season Two, so that’s a given.  I find it’s pretty easy to weave parts of Blaine’s canon into almost any setting.  It just takes some creativity to make it happen now and then.  So!  BOTH, I guess!  Because I’m willing to do either or.  So long as it doesn’t risk who he is at his roots.

6. how are you and your muse alike?
–I think Blaine and I are alike in good and bad ways.  I don’t give up on people to my own detriment at times.  But it’s because I care about them so much that it makes it hard for me to do.  We internalize negative emotions because we don’t want to hurt or put anyone out for our own troubles.  Though sometimes it boils over and it results in us saying something or doing something that’s a lash out.  Doesn’t happen often and I’m working on that.  We’re both a work in progress but I think everyone is.  We try to find the good in things and try to lift people up our of the darkness they fall into because we hate to see people we love suffer or doubt themselves.  We’re dorky, geeky and into things that make our friends stare at us like we have two heads.  Though I’m not into puppets or crafts.  Just nerdy stuff.  We both love music and would be lose without it.  We can be kind of lonely occasionally even though we don’t need to be because we have friends, it just happens?  Hard to explain.Those are the biggest ways, I think.  There’s probably more

✽: Favorite season:  Fall!  I love everything about fall!  It’s been my favorite time of year since I was a kid.  Still warm, beautiful colors in the trees, HALLOWEEN!  Great thunderstorms!  That smell in the air!  Ugh. I love it all.

♠: What’s one thing you dislike about your Muse:  Absolutely nothing.  Blaine is precious and perfect and–I’m kidding!!!  God that sounded awful!  Um.  I think the biggest thing I dislike about Blaine?  The character himself and not things to do with Blaine?  He grows out most of it in later years but I wish for a long time that he’d stop seeking validation for how amazing he was by trying to push himself to the next limit to feel talented or special/good enough for people who either didn’t deserve it or already knew he was.  One thing that’s not so much a “dislike” but always stuck with me?  That’d be the fact that he can be so quick to place blame on himself for things that are out of his control.  I love writing that aspect of him for several reasons but it’s a bad habit that I, myself, have and it’s annoying when you know you are doing it but you can’t convince yourself to listen to your own common sense?  Can’t dislike him for it, but that is something about his personality that I always felt–er–bad? about for lack of a better word?
